March 14, 1828 (will dated Feb. 8, 1828; proved April 4, 1828) in Dutchess Co., NY, bd. on farm property on Rt. 376 between Hopewell and Gayhead, NY (see Carrie Van Vlack - RIN 750). He m. (1) Mary Baldwin ("Balden" as per her father's will. Will was proven Feb. 18, 1789), a dau. of Jacob and Maria/Mariah (Searing) Baldwin, she b. April 15, 1757, Dutchess Co., NY and d. circa 1782 in the town of Fishkill, bd. Van Vlack Cem, Hopewell, Dutchess Co., NY; and (2) Martha Baldwin, her sister, she b. March 11, 1761 (fam. Bible owned by Mrs. J.D. Buck of Beacon), Dutchess Co., NY, and d. Oct. 29, 1833 in Dutchess Co., NY, bd. Hasbrouck--Van Vlack Cem., near Hopewell, Dutchess Co., NY). George served in the Revolutionary War in the Lines and Levies under the Land Bounty Rights. Page 94 of below reference states: "The following men (according to the certificates of the muster-masters) served either in the Line or the Levies, having been hired by the several classes under the Land Bounty Rights but there is nothing to indicate in which regiment of the Line or the Levies they served --Van Vleckren, George" and he is also listed as serving in the Dutchess County 2nd Regiment under the Command of Col.
