He is listed among the Civil War veterans in Hannibal and was a Corporal in Co. F, 110th N.Y. Inf., mustered in on Aug. 25, 1862 and discharged with his regt. In the 1860 Federal Census for Oswego Co., he was listed as being a carpenter.
