Notes - Hendrik Van Vleckeren, b. Aug. 15, 17122, NY, NY, bpt. Aug. 27, 1712, RDC, NY, NY, d. Jan. 23, 17632; his estate is mentioned in the Fishkill tax list in 1765 (surname listed as being Van Vleekere); m. before July 21, 1741, Cornelia Luwis (RDC, New York, Bpts.). Cornelia b. Feb. 10, 1714, d. Feb. 2, 1782. He was made a freeman of New York, Aug 6, 1740, when he was described as a weaver (N.Y.H.S. Col., 1885). Apparently he removed to Dutchess Co. shortly afterward, as his name is found on the Fishkill tax list from 1743 to 1748 and again from 1753 to 1763. In "Papers Relating to Ulster and Dutchess Counties, NY - 1756 "- one Henry Van Vlack of NY, a merchant, is mentioned:
"The Documentary History of New York, Vol. III, 1850", Papers Relating to Quakers and Moravians, A List of the Names of such Moravians Who have Enrolled their names pursuant to the Directions of an act to continue a Act Entitled an act for Regulating the Militia of the Colony of New York with some additions thereto published the 1st of April 1756. Vlzt: 1756 May ye 6th: Henry Van Vlack of N.Y. Mercht.

2) New information from Stevenson's Bible Record (Genealogical Forum of Portland, Oregon, Inc, Vol. XII, No. 4, pg. 31). This record shows birth dates vs. baptismal dates usually found in church records. Also, the bible record is "Jane's" missing document (Ancestry and Descendants of Tielman Van Vleeck of Niew Amsterdam by Jane Van Vleck, New York, 1955, Appendix 4) which identifies Abraham Van Vleckeren's (RIN 16 in this listing, he b. 1755) parents as being Hendrik Van Vleckeren (RIN 71 in this listing - b. 1712) and Cornelia Luwis.
