Bartons Cem., Rawdon Twp.; m. possibly Gilbert Barton, ? son of Isaac Barton and ____, Gilbert b. Aug. 16, 1800 in PE Co., ON and d. May 8, 1849 in Rawdon Twp., Hastings Co., ON. Information from her cemetery stone data works out to be a d.o.b. as March 20. Notes from Lois Brown who was given the family story years ago by Mrs. David Wellman: "Gilbert Barton m. Phoebe DeLong. She had just one arm but was able to knit by use of a corn cob tucked in the stub of her [other] arm. They came up from Prince Edward County and settled in Rawdon Twp."
