Notes - Born in log house in East Mansfield, Pa. (now Carnegie). She taught school
four years, first in Sunnyside (Pittsburgh) in a mining district and later in
Hoboken (Blawnox).
Married Peter C. Swan on June 18, 1914 and they lived in Ingram for awhile and
then moved to Aspinwall and eventually bought a house on Tenth St. there.
They left Pa. to move to a warmer climate because Dora's health was poor, and
settled in Brunswick, Ga. in 1926. Pete worked for Atlantic Refining Co. in
Pittsburgh and in Brunswick, Ga. Dora died in Brunswick Oct. 19, 1932.
Pete later married Mable, sho had been previously married to Jack Farrell.
