Because this booklet contains new data from that already published, it will be deposited for reference with the Church of the Latter Day Saints (Mormon) in Salt Lake City, Utah; the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.; the New York Biographical and Genealogical Library, New York City; the Holland Society of New York, New York City; the Newberry 5 Chicago, Ill.; the Plains Library, Hopewell Junction, Fishkill, N.Y., as well as local libraries where major Van Vlack groups have lived, for the use of future researchers.

With author Jane Van Vleck’s invitation to use her Van Vlack data to carry on the search and to correct errors, it was decided that the best way to handle what I have to contribute is to reprint all that she has provided on Van Vlacks and fit the corrections, additions and new findings into her format and numbering system for easiest spotting of the changes made and of the new persons added, according to their generation and to their family group.
